Constangy, Brooks, Smith and Prophete, LLP is pleased to welcome three new attorneys to the firm’s California offices.

Remy Kessler has joined Constangy’s Los Angeles office as senior counsel. Kessler is a highly experienced litigator with a strong focus on wage and hour class and representative action litigation and defending claims for wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment and employment torts. With more than 35 years of experience, Kessler’s client base has focused on the retail, banking, healthcare, security services, entertainment, energy and manufacturing industries. He comes to Constangy from McGuireWoods, where he moved in 2019 after spending more than a decade at Reed Smith.

“We’re excited to add Remy to the deep bench of talent Constangy has established in California over the past five years,” said Kenneth Sulzer, who heads Constangy’s California practice group. “California is an especially fertile ground for wage and hour class actions and Private Attorneys General cases, which can quickly become “bet the company” matters for many employers. Remy’s experience in these types of cases, especially in the retail industry, is a great match for us as we continue to grow our practice group.”

To support its growing practice, Constangy has also added two new associates to the firm’s Los Angeles and San Francisco offices.

  • Kelsey Link has joined the firm’s Los Angeles office after spending two years with Lewis Brisbois, where she focused on employment litigation, and two years at general practice firms in New York City. She received her J.D. from Fordham University.
  • Nathan Norimoto is a recent law graduate of the University of California, Hastings. He joins Constangy’s San Francisco office after completing a clerkship with the EEOC and an externship with the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
