Constangy partner Jon Yarbrough is presenting several professional education courses related to employment law for Western Carolina University (WCU).

On Sept. 16, Yarbrough presented on “Employee Relations, Best Practices and Laws Leaders Should Know” as part of WCU’s Five-Day Leadership Certificate Program. The presentation provided attendees an employee relations review and “best practices” including the laws leaders should be familiar with on a state and national level.

On Oct. 27, Yarbrough will present a session detailing “horror stories” from the current interpretations of employment law.

Yarbrough’s practice includes providing advice and counsel to employers on compliance with federal and state employment laws, including the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and wage and hour laws. He also assists federal contractors with affirmative action planning and compliance.
