Constangy partner and appellate practice group co-chair was recently published in the September 2023 issue of California Litigation, published by the California Lawyers Association.

Steven's article, "Five Non-Legal Books Every Young Litigator Should Read," encourages young attorneys to expand their legal knowledge beyond legal textbooks and case law. Through exploring different genres of fiction and non-fiction literature, young litigators can better understand some of the qualities it takes to be a great lawyer, including strategy, observation, creativity, organization, and writing.

Steven Katz is a skilled litigator with extensive experience handling appeal and writ proceedings, including before the United States Supreme Court, the California Supreme Court, and half the federal circuit courts. He also regularly defends employers in class, representative, and collective actions. He is a well-known thought leader, contributing articles, quotes, and interviews to industry media publications and regularly presenting at conferences and speaking engagements.
