Overview

Ariel focuses on litigation and assisting employers with allegations of wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour violations, and related issues.

Her experience includes navigating employee relations, developing compliance strategies, and providing preventative advice and counsel to best avoid the disruption and expense of litigation. Her legal journey began in insurance defense, where she defended businesses and individuals against personal injury claims, gaining valuable experience handling contentious disputes.

Before joining Constangy, Ariel enhanced her legal acumen at an Am Law 100 firm, focusing on broader aspects of employment law. Her understanding of federal court processes is bolstered by her clerkship with the Honorable Barbara L. Major at the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. This role deepened her insights into complex legal issues and refined her litigation skills.

During law school, Ariel served as the editor-in-chief of the California Western Law Review and held a position on the Moot Court Honors Board. She also engaged in significant externships, including one with the Honorable Anthony J. Battaglia in the same district court and another with the California Office of Legislative Counsel. Additionally, she contributed to her community as the Black Law Student Association secretary and a teaching fellow for Property I and II, showcasing her leadership and dedication to the legal field.
