Overview

Ben helps employers navigate complex workplace litigation and appeals with a focus on efficiency, strategy, and minimizing risk. He defends clients in a wide range of employment-related matters, including wage and hour class actions, restrictive covenants, and multi-employee disputes. Ben regularly appears in court to argue critical motions and has experience guiding cases from pre-suit strategy through final appeal.

Ben also brings insight into employment-adjacent business disputes, including breach of contract, agency, and fiduciary duty claims, and he has experience litigating business-related discrimination claims. Ben’s appellate work spans several jurisdictions and includes an amicus brief before the Illinois Supreme Court addressing overtime wage calculation under state law.

Outside the courtroom, Ben remains active in the legal community. He coaches Loyola University Chicago’s Wagner Labor and Employment Moot Court Team and serves on the Associate Board of Chicago House, where he provides pro bono support to clients seeking access to fair housing. Ben is also a law student mentor through LAGBAC, Chicago’s LGBTQ+ Bar Association, where he serves on an advisory board.
