Overview
Monica is an employment litigation attorney who represents employers across industries in administrative proceedings, court actions, arbitrations, and mediations.
She defends clients against claims involving harassment, retaliation, discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, putative class actions, and a range of other employment matters.
Monica also counsels employers on labor and employment issues, providing practical guidance to help mitigate risk and support business objectives. She takes a client-focused, results-driven approach, working to understand each organization’s unique needs and deliver clear, strategic advice. Monica manages all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, dispositive motions, and trial, and has secured dismissals, summary judgments, and favorable jury verdicts through her strong written and oral advocacy.
Monica remains passionate about trial and appellate work. During law school, she was an active member of the Moot Court and Mock Trial Bars at the University of South Carolina School of Law. As an alum, she continues to give back by coaching teams and serving as a judge in trial competitions, helping develop the next generation of legal professionals.
Monica continues to partner with employers to navigate complex disputes and build effective workplace practices, combining diligent advocacy with a commitment to understanding each client’s business.
