Overview

Nick is a member of the Constangy Cyber Team and is based in Chicago, Illinois. 

As a member of our incident response team, Nick assists clients by managing responses to their data security incidents. These incidents include ransomware, business email account compromises, social engineering, and the recovery of funds stolen in fraudulent wire transfers and ACH payments. In managing responses to data security incidents, Nick leverages over 15 years of experience managing complex litigation matters and mitigating third party liability. He has years of experience managing claims on behalf of cyber insurers, including numerous incident response matters.  As a member of our incident response team Nick facilitates digital forensics investigations, network restoration projects, ransom negotiations, public relations, and consumer notification and remediation services.

Nick is a graduate of Michigan State University College of Law where he obtained his Juris Doctor and served as the Director of the National Trial Advocacy Competition. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice at Western Michigan University and served as an Intern for the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan and for the 9th Circuit Court in Kalamazoo County, Michigan. He is licensed to practice in Illinois and Michigan and is admitted in the state and federal courts in Michigan, in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
