Chris Deubert's article, "NFL's Rooney Rule discriminates against white males, group tells EEOC", which was originally published in Constangy's Labor & Employment Insider blog, was recently featured on Westlaw Today. The article discusses challenges to the NFL's Rooney Rule, a rule implemented in 2003 in an effort to diversify NFL coaching positions.

The Rooney Rule in its original form required teams to interview minority candidates for open coaching jobs but has since been expanded to include requirements for general manager, coordinator, and club president positions. In the aftermath of the Supreme Court's decision on affirmative action, the future of the Rooney Rule is uncertain.
