Overview
Alyssa is a member of the Constangy Cyber Team and is based in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Alyssa has extensive experience guiding organizations through the response lifecycle of data security incidents. She works closely with clients to oversee forensic investigations, assess legal obligations, and facilitate regulator and consumer notifications. She also assists clients in responding to regulatory inquiries and investigations, and in strengthening their security posture through incident response planning, policy development, and stakeholder training.
Alyssa counsels clients on the development and enhancement of privacy and security programs, organizational risk management, and regulatory compliance. Her practice also includes advising businesses on the risks associated with emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, and developing strategies to integrate these tools while maintaining compliance with evolving legal requirements.
Alyssa earned her Juris Doctor degree from William & Mary Law School and her Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Binghamton University. She is admitted to practice in North Carolina.
