Overview

Ethan is a member of the Constangy Cyber Team and is based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

He supports clients on a wide range of cybersecurity and data privacy matters, including tracking current and emerging data breach notification and data privacy laws. Ethan assists with compliance projects, provides research and analysis on regulatory developments, and offers support to the firm’s cyber litigation team.

Ethan brings a strong technical foundation to his practice, holding both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree in Computer Science. His background in information technology and security enables him to approach cybersecurity issues with both legal and technical insight.

As a law student at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, Ethan contributed to a chapter in a book on governance and adoption of smart technology and authored papers addressing compelled decryption, digital searches, and digital speech moderation. He also served as a student extern at the Villanova Law Institute to Address Commercial Sexual Exploitation and worked as a research assistant focusing on the intersection of technology and society. Ethan continues to apply his combined technical and legal background to help clients navigate the fast-changing cybersecurity landscape.

Ethan earned his J.D. from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law.

About Me

Ethan grew up in Topsfield Massachusetts, where he spent his time either reading, golfing, or spending time with friends and family. Ethan received a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and took his love of technology to law. When not working Ethan can still be found reading, golfing, or spending time with his friends as they attempt to convert him into a Philadelphia sports fan.
