Mark your calendars.
Consistent with the White House's statement, the deadline for covered contractors to comply with the vaccine mandate has been pushed back. According to updated Guidance issued by the Safer Federal Workplace Task Force, the new deadline for covered contractor employees to be fully vaccinated is January 18, 2022.
As a reminder, "fully vaccinated" is two weeks after the second dose in a two-dose series or two weeks after a single-dose vaccine. Thus, January 4, 2022 is the latest date for covered contractor employees to receive the final vaccination dose.
The Task Force also posted some additional FAQs, including sample signage to use for in both high/substantial or low/moderate community transmission areas.
We will continue to keep you updated as additional guidance is released.
