Joyce is a passionate advocate for employers, representing them in all aspects of employment law—from counseling and risk management to litigation, trial, and appeal.

She has experience representing clients in all phases of litigation, in both state and federal courts, as well as before federal, state, and local administrative agencies. Joyce advises and defends clients on a wide range of workplace matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, restrictive covenants, wage and hour violations, and other employment disputes.

Whether partnering with a startup to build sustainable policies or working with Fortune 100 companies on high-stakes litigation, she has built a reputation for being strategic, relentlessly dedicated, and delivering clear, business-focused solutions. Clients value her ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical, actionable guidance and for being a trusted partner at every stage.

About Me

Joyce was born in São Paulo, Brazil and immigrated to the United States at a young age. That’s when she discovered her first love: the Boston Red Sox.

Outside of the office (and Fenway Park), Joyce enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and two pets. She loves traveling, reading thrillers, and watching the Packers on Sundays (as a proud minority owner, of course).
