Constangy is excited to announce that Matthew Scholl, a partner in the firm’s Los Angeles office, has been appointed co-chair of the California Class Actions & Complex Litigation practice group. Matthew will lead the group alongside Ken Sulzer, managing partner of Constangy’s Los Angeles office.

Matthew focuses his practice on wage and hour compliance, employment class action defense, and complex litigation, representing employers in a wide range of disputes. He has defended businesses in federal and state courts, arbitration, and before administrative agencies, including in class, collective, and representative actions under California’s Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA).
Matthew’s experience spans Fortune 500 companies and smaller family-owned businesses alike, with particular emphasis in the staffing, healthcare, higher education, and manufacturing sectors. In addition to litigation, he partners with employers to design and update wage and hour policies that meet operational goals while ensuring legal compliance.
