Overview
David is a partner in Constangy's New York office and a member of the Constangy Cyber Team. David assists clients in identifying, remediating, and responding to a wide variety of data security incidents, including overseeing forensic investigations, advising on containment and remediation strategies, identifying sensitive data access, and providing legal advice with respect to the array of statutory, regulatory and contractual frameworks that may be implicated by the unauthorized disclosure of data.
David frequently helps clients in analyzing and fulfilling consumer and regulatory notification obligations, liaising with law enforcement and regulatory authorities, and in developing communications and public relations strategies.
In addition to his incident response experience, David also brings nearly a decade of litigation experience gained at a large, national law firm, where he defended clients in the financial, IT, and biotechnology industries in cybersecurity-related matters. David's extensive background in data breach litigation gives him unique insight into cybersecurity risk and allows him to take a preventative stance when it comes to limiting exposure to harm.
About Me
Outside of work, David splits his time between walks with his dog, trips upstate, catching up with friends and family, and exploring Brooklyn.
