Overview

Our New York office opened in 2015. The Brooklyn Bridge was the first fixed crossing of the East River. The span was originally called the New York and Brooklyn Bridge or the East River Bridge but was officially renamed the Brooklyn Bridge in 1915.  Dumbo (short for Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass) is a neighborhood of cobble-stoned streets in Brooklyn.  The large community of tech startups has earned Dumbo the nickname of “the center of the Brooklyn Tech Triangle.”  Dumbo has become New York’s fourth-richest community due to its concentration of tech startups, proximity to Manhattan, industrial buildings converted into luxury lofts, and access to the Brooklyn Bridge Park, Jane’s Carousel, Time Out Market, and other tourist attractions.  The neighborhood is the corporate headquarters for e-commerce retailer Etsy and home furnishing stores company West Elm. Today, the Brooklyn Bridge is hailed as a key feature of New York’s urban landscape, standing as a monument to progress and ingenuity as well as symbolizing New York’s ongoing cultural vitality.
