Overview

Kim Detwiler is a member of the Constangy Cyber Team and is based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

As a former Secret Service Supervisory Special Agent, Kim brings unique insights to the Constangy rapid response team. She assists clients in responding to a variety of types of cyber attacks, including wire fraud, business email compromises and ransomware attacks. Having conducted numerous complex financial fraud and cybercrime investigations in which she worked directly with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), Kim understands the sophisticated financial threats facing businesses. Having prepared threat assessments for the President and Vice President of the United States, and as a former member of the National Security Council, Kim has a thorough knowledge of the malicious criminal networks and nation-state actors that continuously attack business and governmental systems.  

Prior to joining the Constangy Cyber Team, Kim provided incident response services at another firm. During that time she facilitated digital forensics investigations, threat actor communications services, and compliance with consumer and regulatory notification obligations.

Kim earned her law degree from the Widener University School of Law, Cum Laude.  She  earned her Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice from St. Joseph’s University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Shippensburg University.  Kim is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
