Overview

Lindsey is a member of the Constangy Cyber Team and is based in Baltimore, Maryland. He manages responses to a broad range of cyber incidents and helps clients navigate data privacy and security challenges with confidence.

As part of the rapid response team, Lindsey guides clients through data security events involving ransomware, business email compromises, payment fraud, and other privacy matters. He assesses notification obligations under state, federal, industry, and contractual requirements, and ensures clients meet their reporting duties. Lindsey also engages with regulators and law enforcement to support clients throughout the incident response process.

Before joining Constangy, Lindsey served as Corporate Counsel for Incident Response at Amazon, where he managed internal security teams, built programs to reduce cyber risk, negotiated vendor agreements, and drafted privacy policies to comply with U.S. and global laws. Earlier, he worked alongside the Constangy team at another firm for over four years, handling data security incidents across industries.

Lindsey holds the CIPP/US and CIPT credentials. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and the District of Columbia.
