Christine Hogan: A Strategic Litigator and Trusted Advisor

Working out of New York, Christine is a partner with deep experience in wage and hour litigation, class actions, and compliance counseling. She has co-authored reference books on the strategic use of robotics, artificial intelligence, and automation for corporate compliance and independent contractor classification.

Christine has successfully defended employers in single plaintiff litigation, collective/class actions, and New York and U.S. Department of Labor audits. She regularly advises clients on complex employment law issues, including:

  • Wage and hour compliance (minimum wage, overtime, independent contractor classification, exemptions, pay equity, and fair workweek laws).
  • Discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
  • Employment, arbitration, severance, and restrictive covenant agreements.
  • Workforce restructuring, progressive discipline, leaves of absence, and termination strategies.
  • Workplace policies, handbooks, and training programs.

Christine also conducts internal audits and investigations, ensuring compliance with anti-discrimination laws and wage and hour regulations, while fostering a fair and legally sound workplace.

Christine has been recognized for her work in employment law, earning a spot on the New York Metro Super Lawyers® list from 2021-2024. Earlier in her career, she was named a New York Metro Super Lawyers® Rising Star from 2015-2019. In law school, Christine was editor-in-chief of her school’s law review.

Ashley Orler: Partnering with Employers to Navigate Workplace Challenges

Based in Chicago, Ashley is a partner who takes a proactive approach to employment counseling and litigation, helping businesses minimize risk while fostering strong workplace cultures.

Her practice includes:

  • Advising employers on employee classification, leave laws, and background checks.
  • Drafting policies, handbooks, and contracts tailored to business needs.
  • Handling internal investigations related to discrimination, harassment, and wage disputes.
  • Defending employers against claims involving the Equal Pay Act, retaliation, and workplace discrimination.
  • Training managers and employees on sexual harassment prevention, proper documentation practices, and substance abuse policies.

Ashley also helps clients safeguard trade secrets by drafting and enforcing non-compete, non-solicit, and non-disclosure agreements. Additionally, she advises on compliance with Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA) regulations and defends against BIPA-related litigation.

Ashley’s achievements have been widely acknowledged. She was named an Illinois Leading Lawyers, Emerging Lawyer from 2017 -2021 and has been recognized as an Illinois Super Lawyers Rising Star® in 2012 and 2018. More recently, she earned a place on the Illinois Super Lawyers® list from 2022-2025 and was highlighted as a Leading Lawyer by Leading Lawyers Magazine in 2025.

Ryan Steidl: Guiding Businesses Through AI, Cybersecurity, and Data Privacy Challenges

Located in Seattle, Ryan is a key member of the Constangy Cyber Team, bringing extensive experience in data privacy, cybersecurity compliance, and emerging technologies.

Before joining Constangy, Ryan spent eight years at Grant Thornton, where he was a founding member of the firm’s Cyber Practice and Senior Manager of the Privacy & Data Protection Team. He has advised Fortune 500 companies, multinational corporations, and pre-IPO startups on global privacy regulations, AI governance, and risk management.

Ryan’s experience includes:
