Overview
Rodrigo represents employers in employment litigation and brings a well-rounded legal background to workplace law matters.
With experience in criminal defense, general litigation, and employment law, Rodrigo has appeared before trial courts at both the state and federal levels, as well as the North Carolina Court of Appeals and North Carolina Supreme Court. His extensive courtroom experience—including more than a decade of daily appearances—shapes his confident, strategic approach to litigation.
Rodrigo defends employers in cases involving wage and hour disputes, discrimination, and other employment-related claims. His background includes litigating from the plaintiff’s side, giving him valuable insight into opposing strategies and a balanced perspective when advising and defending employers.
Before joining Constangy, Rodrigo represented employees in claims involving race, national origin, age, and disability discrimination, as well as wage and hour violations. This prior experience enhances his ability to anticipate legal arguments and craft responsive, business-aligned strategies for employer clients.
Rodrigo’s litigation-first mindset, combined with his broad legal knowledge, makes him a strong advocate for employers facing complex and sensitive workplace disputes.
