Teresa is both a mediator, a relationship partner for her corporate clients in the employment defense space, and for either role, a very practical "problem solver."
Teresa Bult serves as Constangy’s Administrative Partner and General Counsel, guiding the firm through internal matters and ensuring smooth operations. In addition to her leadership role, she is a trusted Mediator and Relationship Partner for employment issues, working closely with multiple Fortune 500 clients. Teresa takes pride in connecting clients with the firm’s top talent and resources, helping them address immediate legal challenges while also advancing their broader business objectives.
Over her nearly 30-year career with Constangy, Teresa has held numerous leadership positions. She was the founding chair of the firm’s Women’s Network and formerly co-chaired the ABA Litigation Section’s Employment and Labor Relations Law Committee. Her professional excellence has been consistently recognized by Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers in America, Martindale-Hubbell, Chambers USA, and the Nashville Business Journal’s Women of Influence.
What Teresa values most are the relationships she builds with clients. She is deeply invested in learning about their businesses, and many clients have become lifelong friends. About Me
Teresa enjoys life with her husband, three adult sons, and teenage daughter, whom they adopted from Ethiopia in 2012. Outside of work, she loves spending time near the water (lake or beach!), writing, traveling, and volunteering at DreamStreets, a Nashville inner-city ministry which her husband founded. She’s passionate about adoption, supporting single moms, and finding ways to help others thrive in both their careers and personal lives.
