Overview

John is the managing partner of Constangy’s Princeton office and co-managing partner of the Northern New Jersey office.

He represents employers in employment and labor litigation, with particular focus on restrictive covenant disputes, including non-competition, non-solicitation, and non-disclosure agreement litigation. John also handles FINRA securities arbitration, securities industry litigation, and advises emerging businesses and start-ups.

John has extensive trial experience in both state and federal courts across New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and New York. He has successfully argued cases before the New Jersey Appellate Division, the New Jersey Supreme Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. John regularly counsels clients on employment issues, litigation strategies, and risk management to support their long-term business goals.

Before attending law school, John worked as a financial analyst in the European bond department at Bloomberg, L.P., giving him valuable insight into financial services operations and regulatory environments. This business background informs his practical approach to legal issues, particularly in matters involving the securities industry and start-up enterprises.
