Overview

Lillie is a member of the Constangy Cyber Team and is based in Dallas, Texas. She assists clients in responding to a variety of data security incidents, including facilitating the allocation and deployment of digital forensics and network restoration services. She also assists clients in assessing and complying with consumer and regulatory notification obligations and mitigating the risk of third-party liability. Lillie’s incident response work is informed by substantial experience conducting data privacy and information security audits and facilitating remediation of vulnerabilities. Lillie also leverages her passion for maximizing business efficiency of her clients by drafting comprehensive compliance, governance, and security protocols to meet organizations' specific needs. She has experience drafting various agreements to ensure compliance with privacy laws and regulations, such as service provider agreements, customer agreements, data processing, data transfer, and data usage agreements. Lille drafts, evaluates, and implements policies and procedures to ensure client compliance with standards for the collection, use, preservation, processing, and dissemination of personally identifiable information. She also conducts client awareness training to improve their comprehension of the company's privacy policies, data handling practices and procedures, and legal obligations.

Lillie offers strategic insight on data protection initiatives globally, including but not limited to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), China Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD), and Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

Prior to joining a law firm, Lillie gained valuable experience working for the U.S. Small Business Administration holding several positions during her time there, such as audit reviews and fraud analysis and prevention. She was also special counsel as a data security investigation specialist, designing, drafting, and implementing agreements to ensure compliance with privacy laws & regulations.
