National labor, employment, and cybersecurity law firm Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete, LLP is pleased to announce Clifton Beech has joined the firm’s Cyber Team and will be located in the Dallas office. Beech joins the 59-member team, continuing the firm’s expansion of service to clients in this critical area of business.

Beech helps clients respond to actual and suspected cybersecurity incidents, including ransomware attacks, business email compromises, spoofed websites, and fraudulent wire transfers. Using his knowledge of the cyber threat and data privacy landscapes, Beech guides organizations through every stage of an incident – from initial analysis to coordinating crisis communications, internal forensic investigations, liaising with law enforcement, and incident reporting obligations.

Prior to joining the Constangy Cyber Team, Beech practiced with an Am Law 200 firm advising clients on compliance with the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and other state, federal, and international data security regulations.  He also provides guidance about industry standards and best practices in drafting complex technology contracts, including third-party vendor agreements and SaaS and software licensing agreements.
