Constangy partner and Cybersecurity and Data Privacy team member, Jordan Fischer, will present a webinar - 'The Global Privacy Landscape: Regulatory Compliance and Protecting Customer Data' - on Tuesday, August 29th. This program, hosted by the Association of Information Technology Professionals Los Angeles Chapter, is scheduled for 5:30 - 7:30 pm PT.
Jordan and her co-presenter will discuss a variety of global privacy topics and issues, including the evolution of security and privacy worldwide, the California Consumer Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and cross-border data transfers under the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Attendees will also leave with a better understanding of regulatory compliance requirements and best practices for protecting personal and organizational data.
Jordan, a partner who works out of Constangy's Philadelphia office, has extensive experience counseling clients on issues pertaining to compliance with global and domestic data security and privacy laws. Her practice includes helping organizations develop and adopt right-sized privacy and security programs with business growth and risk profile in mind. She is also a globally recognized speaker and writer on these topics, as well as the host of the American Bar Association's podcast, 'Cybersecurity and Data Privacy: The New Frontier'.
