Rest in peace, Penni.
As the firm announced last week, Penni Bradshaw, former co-chair of our Immigration Practice Group, died on June 5 after an extended illness.
I worked with Penni (OK, "reported to Penni"-- she was my boss, along with Randy Loftis) at our old law firm before Randy and I came to Constangy in 1991. We wanted (OK, "begged and pleaded for") Penni to come too, but she decided to stay where she was. Fortunately for us, she changed her mind several years later, and became the head of Constangy's Immigration Practice Group, which grew and thrived under her leadership.
Penni was not only an outstanding lawyer and colleague but also a friend and a wonderful person who will be missed terribly. We are grateful for having been able to know her.
Our condolences to Penni's husband, Mike, and son, Christopher, and to all of her family and loved ones. Her daughter, Sarah, predeceased her, and we pray that Penni and Sarah are happily reunited now.
